Roberto Manzano (Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, 1949). Poet and essayist, with twenty-five books of poetry and essays published. Titles of some of his poetic works: Tablillas de barro (1996), Synergos (2005), El libro de los discursos (2017). Member of the Association of Writers of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. Accolades: Nicolás Guillén Poetry Prize 2005 and Samuel Feijóo Prize 2007. Provides training to young writers. He has elaborated anthologies of Cuban poetry and of the young promotions of poets. Roberto coordinates the Synergos Project and Molino Blanco Ediciones. His poetic work has been included in Cuban and foreign anthologies, and translated into Greek, English and Mandarin.
