Where are the waters?

An invitation to meditate on Freshwater, offered by Agam Agenda.

Maybe they’re running beneath soil and cement. Maybe they’re sitting still—a long distance away. Maybe they’re no longer here or there.

Could the water in your glass tell you?

Maybe you could walk to the edge, see your reflection. Or maybe the waters are boundless.

What do these waters mean to you, your family, your community, and the many communities beyond you?

How have the freshwaters in our shared landscapes given birth to us? What do they remind you of? Where does freshwater meet sacredness and healing? Where does it meet pollution, toxicity, death?

Follow where the waters lead. Who and what might you meet along their banks?
