What is it?
When Is Now is a global creative collaboration for urgent climate action: a collective seeding of demands that will take root as radical beginnings across the world. It is organized by the Agam Agenda, Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF), and Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities. The initiative is steered by poet, climate envoy for the Marshall Islands, and CVF Ambassador for Culture Kathy Jetn̄il-Kijiner.
How can I participate?
Share a ‘seed’ of creative climate action: respond to a poem or write a new one, create a visual art piece, compose a song, dance, move. We are calling on all of you—poets, creatives, activists —a to ask “When?” in hundreds of different ways in the face of the climate crisis.
How does it work?
Storytellers around the world will respond to each other’s creations. These linked creations and an accompanying series of murals will reflect on lived experiences of the climate crisis, and national and regional demands for more ambitious, urgent climate action that protect the most climate vulnerable.
