M.Yuvan is from Chennai, India. His specific interest in nature writing explores the continuum of mindscape and landscape. He is the author of ‘A Naturalist’s Journal’ a collection of essays and has written for magazines like Sanctuary Asia and RoundGlass Sustain. Yuvan is the recipient of the M.Krishnan Nature Writing Award, conferred by the Madras Naturalists’ Society. Presently he is a teacher at the Songlines Abacus Farm-school, an alternative education space for children.
