Prateebha grew up in Kathmandu, but she found wings early on and so life took her to all kinds of places outside of her home valley. In her travels and transitions, she was able to meet and talk to trees, clouds, birds, dogs and lots of people. She is intrigued by people and fascinated by nature.
Prateebha has worked as a journalist for over a decade; doing television, print and some radio. She is also a teacher of journalism at the Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines.
She is currently recovering from a long illness and is learning to relearn life and its dualities.
