Nabiha Shahab or Abby is a science writer for CIFOR’s Forest News. She grew up and spent most of her life in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has worked in the media, including for international newswire Agence France Press and other leading news organisations such as the British Broadcasting Corporation, Worldservice, and Deutsche Presse-Agentur. She is has been deeply involved in communications campaigns with environmental NGOs since 1997. She enjoys cooking and is currently fascinated by urban farming.
