Marx Fidel is a Manila-based illustrator, children’s book artist, and comic book creator who aims to deliver remarkable stories, from the mundane to the fantastical, through his narrative-driven works of art. Much of his works are socio-politically charged and try to explore, comment on, and/or challenge status quos. Some of the recent books he’s illustrated are Matandang-matandang Buto (2022, Adarna House, Inc.), DARKNESS Anthology: Pasahero (2022, Komiket, Inc.), Gasera ng Paglingap: Ang Bal-bal (2023, Istorya Publishing House), and, of course, Agam Agenda’s From Our Land Called Home (2023).
He is currently an artist-member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan and DAKILA.
