Margarito Cuéllar (San Luis Potosí, Mexico, 1956). Author of 19 books of poems, including: Theory of Beauty (2018)–Hispano-American Poetry Festival of the Lira 2019 Award–and Poemas en los que nunca es de noche (2019). He has won two national poetry prizes and one short story prize. Other international awards: Radio France International Poetry Award 2003 and Ibero-American Poetry Award for work published in 2014 for Las edades felices (Hyperion/ UANL, 2013 and 2015). “Animals and plants are almost always fascinating species; man is a predator by nature, which has brought the world to be upside down.”
