Hi, I’m Leila McLeod, a 13 year old South African girl living in Cape Town at the tip of Africa. I was born in my childhood home (not in a hospital) in Johannesburg, the biggest city in my country. When I was just 1 year old we moved south to this beautiful place where I now live – with mountains close by and views of two oceans.
I go to a Waldorf school nearby and I love learning – including piano playing. At night I share my bed with Timmy, the handsomest stripey grey cat in the world. I love trampolines, swimming, ice-cream, walking through the woods in the mountains, drawing and painting. I’m saving up for a bicycle so I can explore forests and nature even more. I’d like to be a paediatric surgeon when I’m older.
