Anna Miguel Cervantes is interested in the nexus of her identities as maker of text and moving images rooted in her continuing work with communities in conflict settings and ancestral domains of indigenous peoples in Mindanao, Philippines. She is a recipient of grants from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts; British Council Philippines; and Para site (Hong Kong).
Anna Miguel Cervantes was born and raised in Cagayan de Oro City, and is currently based in Metro Manila.
